Sussex Performance Physiotherapy

Whether you are suffering from injury, chronic pain, headaches or emotional stress, massage has its benefits for all of these and more. Daily work/activity routines can lead to tension being built up in the body, both mentally and physically. This can then lead to other issues such as posture imbalances. Many people only think only of having a massage when they are already injured or mentally exhausted. A regular massage will help to keep your mind and body in balance, as well as prevent a build up of these problems.

The human body is truly fascinating and leaves a never ending array of learning. My passion for exercise, well-being and helping others to achieve their health and fitness goals lead me to become a Personal Trainer. Over the years, this then encouraged me to study Sports Massage Therapy. Now qualified to Level 4, I am currently working towards the end of my level 5.

Sports Massage will focus on specific areas of concern. Advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy (TP), soft tissue release (STR) and muscle energy techniques (MET) are used. For those of you that prefer more of a mind and body relaxation massage, I also offer Swedish and Hot Stones massage and facial treatments. Whatever you need, your treatment will always be tailored to your specific needs.

Exercise is a huge part of my life. I enjoy training with weights as well as a bit of boxing on the punch bag. My working week varies from working on the gym floor, 1-2-1 personal training, massage and facial treatments. My spare time is spent with further study in both Sports Massage Lvl 5 and Biomechanics.

Everyone needs to take a bit of time out to relax and I do this by listening to music or watching a bit of TV. Knowing the benefits of massage, I always ensure I have a regular massage to keep me injury free.

Let’s talk.
