About Jenny Day
As the owner of Body Happy, I’ve always been interested in health, well being and fitness. Most of all, my motivation is to help others to be their very best. My team and I would love to help YOU, too.
Keen on athletics, I graduated with a BSc in Sports Science and Sports Therapy, a well-recognised qualification in the fitness sector.
I’m fortunate enough to have a wealth of experience and expertise. I’ve managed a number of gyms and fitness studios, including the health club at the Metropole on Brighton’s sea front. In addition, I’ve achieved Level 4 Advanced instructor for lower back pain management, with additional qualifications in:
- Mat-based Pilates
- Exercise for older adults
- Exercise referrals

Because your comfort and safety is at the forefront of my mind, I will customise your fitness programmes entirely to your needs. Consequently, we can work together to help with your progression and development.
Older People, Rehabilitation and Referrals
If you’re of more advanced years, or haven’t exercised for a long time, don’t worry. We will devise a training programme that won’t exhaust you but WILL help you to look and feel better.
Recovering from a sports injury or an illness? Now is the time. Talk to us for just the right personal training to get you back on track.
Maybe you’re pregnant or have recently given birth. We can devise a customised programme of exercise to help you prepare for your new arrival. Especially relevant is that we can also gently help get you back into shape afterwards.
Body Happy focuses on working people like you, whose GP or other health professional has recommended a tailored programme of exercise. Since I work in close partnership with other health experts, such as a nutritionist and a practice nurse, I would very much like to form future partnerships with chiropractors and physiotherapists.
Pilates Classes in Hove
For those with an interest in increasing their core strength, flexibility and general fitness, I’m a fully qualified Pilates instructor and I run regular Pilates classes from my studio in Hove. My clients offer such positive feedback on my classes: these sessions will challenge you but you’ll leave each one maybe even feeling just that little bit taller and stronger.
